Jeff Jenkins
Coach
Originally from Newark, New Jersey, Jeff Jenkins brings a wealth of experience, passion, and heart to the BokkeBallerz Association. A former professional basketball player, Jeff was drafted into the NBA in 1984 by the Seattle SuperSonics after a standout collegiate career at Xavier University. Standing at 6’8”, his journey took him across the globe, with a notable stint playing for La Laguna Tenerife in Spain’s Liga Endesa.
But Jeff’s story doesn’t end with professional accolades. Now based in Switzerland, he has embraced a new chapter as a coach—devoted to youth development and the meaningful growth of basketball at the grassroots level. With a deep belief in the game as a tool for transformation, Jeff is committed to using his experience to empower the next generation, both on and off the court.
Whether mentoring young players, leading training sessions, or simply encouraging kids to believe in their potential, Jeff is driven by purpose. His love for basketball is not just about the sport—it’s about building confidence, fostering teamwork, and creating a positive impact in the lives of young athletes.
At BokkeBallerz, Jeff’s role is pivotal in nurturing talent and helping shape a basketball culture rooted in inclusivity, growth, and excellence.
